Common questions

Do I need a referral?

It depends on your insurance plan. Call us at (732) 800-2760 and we’ll help you check before your visit.

Will I see the same doctor every visit?

Yes. Your care is seamless, continuous and with Dr. Coccaro at every visit until you are pain free — no getting passed around a large practice.

Do you treat auto accident and workers’ compensation injuries?

Yes. We treat New Jersey no-fault (PIP) auto injury patients and workers’ compensation patients. Download the No-Fault / Workers’ Compensation form below and bring your claim details.

Will you just prescribe opioids?

No. Narcotics play a minor role in our practice. We focus on precise, minimally invasive and non-opioid treatments first.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your completed new patient forms, photo ID, insurance card(s), a list of current medications, and any X-rays, MRI or CT reports and images you have. If your visit is accident-related, bring your claim number and adjuster’s information.

How long do procedures take?

Most minimally invasive procedures take under 45 minutes, and patients usually return to normal activities within days.
